A pair of bronze cast statues of The Furietti Centaurs raised on Verde Antico marble bases, the bronzes in superb condition and beautifully patinated.
The Furietti Centaurs were an extremely popular model in the 18th century following their discovery at Hadrians Villa in Tivoli in 1736. So called as they were discovered by Monsignor Furietti.
