Italy, 19th century

A fine pair of early 19th century Italian .800 silver candelabra, the candlesticks with tapered fluted columns supported on bases of acanthus leaves and lobed petals and classical motifs. The nozzles supporting two scrolled arms with scrolled acanthus-ornament, each terminating in nozzles, the central nozzle supporting a removable cast silver flame.

Stamped throughout with an anvil and no makers marks.
