The gilt tooling is of the most beautifully detailed form, the interior of which highlights its incredible vivid grandeur, as befits its Royal pedigree. Running Stags & perching Birds adorn this rare surviving masterpiece. The interior being lined with what appears the original marbelised paper, delivering the most wonderous of colours. Maintaining its original escutcheon & hinges which appear to be crafted in solid Silver. In excellent condition for its age, use & handling. The bun feet are later replacements.
