The workshops of Heath and Middleton were famous for their production of fine glass and silver objects. They produced countless designs and worked closely with the pre eminent designers of the day including most famously Dr Christopher Dresser. The present piece dates to the end of the 19th century and consists of two fused vessels for oil and vinegar, the spouts fitted with stamped silver mounts and hinged lids.
